Each edit follows your style guide: British or American English, your style manual, and the names that must never change.
Spelling, grammar, punctuation and consistency, with a light touch on the author's voice.
Sentence-level clarity, rhythm and flow, plus everything a proofread catches.
Structure, pacing and character notes, with a book-level report and chapter-by-chapter guidance.
All three passes in the right order, tracked against your original manuscript.
A full manuscript assessment: strengths, what to improve, chapter-by-chapter notes and a revision plan, without touching your text.

Turn any finished manuscript into an audiobook with a natural AI narrator: American, British or Australian, one MP3 per chapter.
Upload a manuscript, choose a service, and download Word tracked changes, a clean copy and a report.
No software to install. Works with Word files, PDFs and plain text.
Add your manuscript. We count the words before anything is charged.

Yes. Your files are only used to edit your book. They are not used to train AI models, and they are deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
A Word file with every edit as a tracked change, a clean copy with all changes accepted, and an editorial report. Developmental edits include a book-level report with chapter notes. An Editorial report gives you the assessment and revision plan on its own, with your text unchanged.
Word (.docx and older .doc), PDF, plain text (.txt and Markdown .md), Rich Text (.rtf), OpenDocument (.odt) and Apple Pages. From Google Docs, choose File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx). Word files keep all their formatting; we always send back Word files. Scanned PDFs can't be read, so please upload the Word file instead.
A typical book is ready the same day, and a progress bar shows how far along it is. Some edits are also checked by one of our editors before delivery, which can add up to one working day.
Describe your idea in a sentence or a page. We plan the book first (title, characters and a chapter-by-chapter outline), which you can approve or change, then write each chapter in order so names and events stay consistent. You get the book as a Word file to edit and make your own.
Google Play Books and Kobo accept audiobooks narrated by a digital voice, and you can always sell from your own website. Audible (ACX) currently requires a human narrator, so AI-narrated editions can't go there. Wherever you publish, say the book is narrated by a digital or synthesized voice. We include a note with the files to remind you.
Amazon KDP treats AI used for editing, proofreading and refining your own writing as AI-assisted, which does not need to be disclosed. Books written by AI through ghostwriting, and AI-generated covers, must be declared as AI-generated when you publish. When our publishing features launch, we'll track this for you.
Audible currently requires human narration, so for Audible we'll offer human narrators. AI-narrated editions can go to stores that accept them, such as Google Play Books and Kobo, or be sold on your own website.
