These terms are an agreement between you and TechCuber ("we", "us"), which runs Authorvia at https://authorvia.com. By buying, starting a free trial or using Authorvia, you accept them.

1. Our order process and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

2. What Authorvia does

Authorvia uses artificial intelligence (AI) to proofread, line edit and developmentally edit manuscripts, write editorial reports, write books from an idea (ghostwriting) and narrate audiobooks. Edits are delivered as Word files with tracked changes, a clean copy and a report; books as Word files; audiobooks as MP3 files. A human editor review is available as a paid add-on.

3. Your account

• Your login is created when you buy or start a free trial. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you buy for a company or agency, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.
• Agency plans include the number of team seats shown on the pricing page.

4. Credits, packs and plans

• Services are paid for with credits. Each service uses a set number of credits per 1,000 words, shown on the pricing page and before every job starts. Words are counted before anything is charged.
• Credit packs are a one-time payment. Their credits last 365 days from purchase. Top-up credits do not expire.
• Monthly plans renew automatically every month until cancelled and add new credits each month. Up to 20% of a month's unused credits carry over to the next month; the rest expire.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred to another account, and are used oldest-expiring first.
• If a job fails, its credits are kept so you can retry for free. If you cancel a job before it finishes, its credits are returned.
• Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. We may change prices for future purchases and renewals; we'll tell monthly plan customers at least 14 days before a price change applies to them.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your manuscripts and the results

• You keep all rights to the manuscripts you upload and to the edited files, reports, books and audiobooks we deliver to you. We claim no ownership of them.
• You give us permission to store and process your files only to provide the service, including sending text to our AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your work or use it to train AI models.
• You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you upload, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone's rights.
• Files are deleted automatically 30 days after a job finishes, so please download them.

6. AI-generated work

• AI can make mistakes. Please review every edit, report, book and audiobook before you publish or rely on it. Our service helps you; it doesn't replace your own final check.
• Ghostwritten books and AI-narrated audiobooks are AI-generated. Some stores (for example Amazon KDP and Audible/ACX) ask you to declare AI content or don't accept AI narration. Following each store's rules is your responsibility.
• We can't promise that an AI-written book is free of similarities to other works, or that it will be accepted by any publisher or store.

7. Human editor review

When you add a human editor review, one of our editors checks the AI's work, corrects what it missed and sends you a note, normally within 3 working days of the job being paid for and finished. The review is a check of the AI's work, not a guarantee that the text is free of every error.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Authorvia to upload or create content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, sexualises minors, harasses or defames people, or is meant to deceive (for example fake reviews). Don't try to break, overload, copy or resell the service, or share a login outside your team seats. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules; where the breach is serious, unused credits may not be refunded.

9. Free trial and samples

The free trial gives one free item: either an editorial snapshot of a book (up to the length shown when you upload) or a sample edit of up to 3,000 words. It is limited to one per person: we use your account and your network (IP address) to check this, and may refuse or withdraw a trial that is being misused, for example through several accounts. It's provided as it is, without payment and without the commitments in section 11.

10. Affiliates

Our affiliate programme has its own rules, shown on the affiliate page and in your affiliate dashboard.

11. Our responsibility to you

• We'll provide the service with reasonable care and skill and aim to keep it available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted.
• As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or liability that can't legally be limited.

12. Ending the service

You can stop using Authorvia at any time and cancel a monthly plan through the link in your Paddle receipt; the plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. We may end an account that breaks these terms, as described in section 8.

13. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll email customers about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any consumer protection rights you have where you live.
